Welcome to Chalet Le Larzet!*

This wonderful and traditional chalet is our second home in the Alps.

The chalet was built in 1949 by a celebrated French architect. While it retains many period features, we have added touches of modern style and convenience.

Situated in Les Moussoux, on the northern slope of the valley, the chalet gets the best of the winter sun, as well as enjoying breathtaking views. It is still less than a 10 minute walk into the town of Chamonix.

This site is just to give you a better appreciation this magical place, and some practical information on the chalet.

* Le Larzet is local 'argot' for Meleze, which is French for Larch - a beautiful deciduous pine
